This weekend marked the beginning of a new month and the first craft market of the month for us! *throws confetti*
It is officially Black History Month AND the LOVE month (Valentine’s Day).
Though the Saturday market was the garage of the wonderful R. House market, it was very chilly. This winter weather in the DMV has been so flakey. I should have checked the weather and bundled up a little more than I did.
I am grateful for all of the wonderful customers I encountered. It was beautiful energy.
A FULL house of makers, artisans, and retailers which always makes for a great time. Over 60 vendors were in attendance this month, which is pretty amazing.
My neighbors were Bro-Nana Pudding Shop, Naked Vanity and Karen Coston Jewelry. I was also behind Agri-Chicks. I got a delicious smelling bubble bar before I packed up. My other local business favorites were in attendance… A Day N June; Pop, Paper, Scissors; Classic Wardrobe; and Nafessa’s Organics.
If you are ever in the Baltimore area, this market is a must for shopping great local businesses. It happens every 1st Saturday of the month. Fly Nerd is USUALLY there unless we have something else going on. Be sure to check out our events page to keep up with us. If you are interested in find out more about the Greater Goods Market or becoming a vendor, visit their website for more information.
Here are some pictures from the day.
